We assist Canadians with long and complex itineraries to amazing dream / bucket list destinations. Our local destination knowledge and expertise is our competitive edge. We craft the perfect itinerary for each and every client, all the while ensuring competitive pricing. Our agents enjoy a professional office environment. We have fun, but also work hard. We are looking for a hard-working individual who is passionate about the vibrant travel industry.
DUTIES
On a day-to-day basis your day will include (but not limited to):
- Managing Flight Bookings & Queues in Sabre GDS
- Working with new and existing clients with their vacation requests
- In depth Itinerary planning
- Meeting with Clients
- Accurately Quoting vacation packages
- Working in a team environment downtown Vancouver Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 2 years front line travel agency experience.
- Firsthand destination knowledge of Australia and New Zealand
- South Pacific travel experience of one's own
- GDS (preferably Sabre) 2 years experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products
- Type 40wpm or more
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
- Outgoing and Friendly personality
- Shows Initiative and reliability
- Able to work effectively unsupervised
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good Computer Skills
- Team Player
- Willing to learn
- Full command of the English Language – oral and written
- Passionate about their work
- Results Driven
