TRIP ITINERARY
Aussie Road Trip Adventure, from Brisbane-Brisbane
16 Day Adventure
Day 1: Depart Canada
Your flight departs today. You will cross the international dateline and ‘lose’ a day.
Day 3: Arrive Brisbane, Australia
G’Day! welcome to Australia. After arriving at Brisbane Airport, make your way to pick up your motorhome and start your adventure! There are so many fun routes you can choose in Australia.
Days 4 – 15: Road Tripping in Australia
Your days are free to explore Australia as you choose for two weeks. You have so many options of places to discover, from the Queensland coast including beaches and islands such as the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Fraser island and the Whitsundays, to the interior such as Lamington National Park, Mt Tamborine, Glasshouse Mountains or Granite Belt wine country.
Day 16: Brisbane – Canada
Your Aussie road trip adventure comes to an end today. Return your motorhome in Brisbane today and proceed to the airport for your flight home to Canada.
South Pacific Island Option: Add the Cook Islands
Day 17: Brisbane (Australia) to Rarotonga (Cook Islands)
On arrival in the Cook Islands you will be met and transferred from Rarotonga Airport to your accommodation where you will stay for 5 nights. Lagoon Breeze Villas is located on 4-acres of lush tropical gardens and offers just 24 villas on Rarotonga’s sunset coast across from the Aroa Beach & Marine Reserve. This self-catering property has a pool, communal BBQ and complimentary kayaks. Each villa also includes air conditioning, kitchenette and an outdoor patio.
Days 18 – 21: Rarotonga
Relax… you’re on island time now! Your days here are at your leisure to relax and do as much exploring or as little as you please while in Rarotonga. Enjoy simple pleasures such as walking along beaches, hiking the rugged interior, watching the sunset or visiting the local market on a Saturday. This island is just 32km around and exploring is simple, they have buses that travel either clockwise or anti-clockwise so getting around is easy! We have included the following excursion:
Muri Lagoon Day Cruise Excursion – Spend a day enjoying the clear, shallow water and a glass bottom boat cruise on Muri Lagoon. This natural aquarium has myriads of colourful fish and snorkelling is the ideal way to explore up close. After snorkelling, head to a small island to relax and enjoy a delicious fresh fish island-style BBQ lunch.
Day 22: Rarotonga – Canada
Your trip comes to an end today. You will be transferred to Rarotonga Airport to commence your journey home to Canada.
