12 Day Adventure
Day 1: Arrive Bali, Indonesia

Days 2-4: Sanur Beach
Your first few days in Bali is at your leisure to relax and explore Sanur Beach and South Bali.
Day 5: Sanur – Munduk
Depart early this morning and travel from South Bali to Munduk which will take approximately 8-9 hours. The first stop is Tanah Lot Temple, one of the holiest shrines in Bali. This is situated on an impressive rock formation off-shore and it is a popular place for pilgrims. Next, proceed to Jatiluwih and visit the stunning rice terraces clinging to the contours of the mountain. These are so impressive they have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Bedugul, an attractive mountain resort located 850m above sea level. Visit Ulundanu Temple which is dedicated to the goddess Dewi Danu before driving to Munduk where you will overnight. Lunch today is included at a local restaurant.
Day 6: Munduk – Lovina Beach
This morning, take a guided short trek around the hotel to explore the lush and fertile tropical plantations that produce cacao, cloves and coffee. Travel to Lovina via Git-Git, which is home to a beautiful waterfall, surrounded by dense greenery. Then proceed to an ornate and solemn Buddhist monastery and Banjar Hot Spring. The traditional Balinese temple-like architecture and carvings at this attraction make it one of Bali’s most attractive geothermal baths. Amid verdant topical grounds, three pools are fed by naturally hot spring water and the liquid spews from the mouths of carved stone Naga’s. After enjoying the hot springs, transfer to Lovina, where you will overnight. Lunch today is included at a local restaurant.
Day 7: Lovina – Candidasa
Depart for Candidasa, making a number of stops along the way, the first being Kintamani, a spectacular mountain resort overlooking Lake Batur. Proceed to Besakih Temple located on the slope of Mount Agung, Bali’s highest volcano. This site features a complex of 24 temples and it is known as the ‘Mother Temple of Bali’ as it houses ancestral shrines for all Hindu Balinese. Finally, enjoy a visit to Taman Tirta Gangga (Water Palace) which contains swimming pools and ornamental ponds and this attraction serves as a fascinating reminder of the days of the Balinese Rajahs. Lunch today is included at a local restaurant.
Day 8: Candidasa
Today is free to enjoy Candidasa at your leisure.
Day 9: Candidasa – Ubud
Depart Candidasa for Ubud with some stops en route taking a total of 7-8 hours. Your first stop is at Goa Lawah (Bat Cave), with walls that resonate to the sound of thousands of bats, is considered a holy temple and accordingly, shrines protect the entrance. The next stop is Kusamba, a fishing and salt production village with an idyllic shoreline lined with colourful outrigger boats. Continue to Kerta Gosa, or the ‘Hall of Justice.’ Built in the 18th century, this is a beautifully laid out site that contains a moat and it provides an exquisite example of the Klungkung (regency) style of painting and architecture, which is represented by the ceiling murals. Conclude the day in Ubud where you will spend the next 3 nights. Lunch today is included at a local restaurant.
