Sample Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Bali, Indonesia

Welcome to Indonesia.  On arrival in Bali, you will be met  at Denpasar Airport and transferred to Sanur Beach and your hotel. Sanur is a stretch of beach along the southeast coast of the island.  This is a popular choice for visitors looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.  Your resort is located at the southern end of the island overlooking the beach and is surrounded by tropical gardens.

Days 2-7: Sanur Beach, Bali

Sanur is a charming seaside town in South Bali with a beach stretching for approximately 5km.  The Sanur beachfront walk was one of the first in Bali and curves past resorts, beachfront cafes, wooden fishing boats, grant old villas and also has views across the water to Nusa Penida.  Relax at your resort, enjoy watersports, visit nearby Nusa Penida for the day, (activities additional expense), shop for local bargains and crafts and browse local day/night markets.

One day during your stay we have included a choice of one of the following foodie excursions: Flavours and history of Denpasar (day time) – a culinary adventure to Denpasar, the capital of Bali that was originally a centre of the Badung kingdom and conquered by the Dutch in 1906. This World Heritage-listed city has a variety of cultural traditions earmarked for preservation – one of which is food.  See the old city and learn about its history which is intertwined with culinary themes. Sampling excellent Balinese coffee in one of the oldest coffee shops, followed by some classic signature local delicacies in six different venues. Or, you may choose Denpasar Street Food (night time) – Discover the evening atmosphere of the capital and exotic Balinese culture by night while tasting various legendary local dishes. This excursion will show you the hectic trading district of Bali and share the tastes of  various legendary culinary delights, numerous Balinese snacks while interacting with local residents at a traditional market.

Day 8: Sanur – Ubud

Today you will travel by vehicle from Sanur Beach to your resort in Ubud in the highlands.

Days 9-14: Ubud, Bali

Ubud is a town located in the foothills of the volcanic mountains and is surrounded by paddy fields and scenic dramatic valleys. Ubud is brimming with tradition, temples, spas, culture, cuisine, history and some of the most picturesque and accessible walks in Bali.  Enjoy your time at your leisure to explore as you wish.  This region in the heart of the island is filled with rice terraces, swaying palms, waterfalls and jungle. Ubud is renowned as one of the most spiritual places in Bali, offering a blend of Hindu culture and temples such as Sacred Monkey Temple, Sangeh Monkey Forest, Pura Tirta Empul Water Temple plus popular local markets and town centre lined with cute boutiques, cafes, art galleries, gelato shops, massage spots and more.

Day 15: Ubud – Candidasa

Today you will transfer by private vehicle from Ubud to Candidasa in eastern Bali.

Days 16-21: Candidasa, Bali

Officially known as Segkidu Village, Candidasa is laid-back tranquil coastal village perfect to relax or explore the east coast of Bali.  This less developed corner if the island is a hidden gem with beautiful sunrises, serene beaches, views of the Lombok Strait, some great restaurants and a backdrop of green hills and paddy fields. Your peaceful stay here may include visiting local temples, diving,

Day 22: Depart Bali, Indonesia

Today you farewell tropical Bali and transfer from Candidasa to Denpasar Airport for your onward journey (flights not included in price).
