14 Day Adventure
Day 1: Arrive Perth, Australia
G’Day, welcome to Australia. On arrival in Perth, Western Australia today you will transfer to your central Perth accommodation where you will stay for 3 nights. The balance of your day is at leisure.
Days 2-3: Perth
Western Australia’s capital city Perth is located on the southwestern coast and known for its warm climate and relaxed pace. Explore the seaside settlement of Freemantle on the Indian Ocean to enjoy fresh seafood and craft beers, Rottnest Island to swim, snorkel or get up close to a ‘Quokka’. Discover the Swan valley wine region known for its Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Shiraz or watch the sun set at Cottesloe Beach. You have two days to explore Perth and to get you started, we have included the following experiences in your package:
Perth & Freemantle sightseeing tour – explore Perth and Fremantle, the city and the alfresco lifestyle that Perth people enjoy including Kings Park Botanical Gardens, Perth City, Cottesloe Beach and the historical port of Fremantle.
Day 4: Perth to Margaret River
Pick up your rental car in Perth today to drive south to the Margaret River region, where you will stay for 5 nights.
Day 5-8: Margaret River
The Margaret River area in Western Australia is known for its beautiful beaches, endless wineries, world-class surf and adventure activities. Your days are at your leisure to choose how to spend your time. We recommend walking along Busselton Jetty, visit lighthouses, caves, wineries and distilleries, enjoy local produce or perhaps walk part of the Cape-to-Cape Track. We have included the following experiences to get you started:
Wine & Cheese Tasting – Margaret River was compared to the famed Bordeaux region, well-suited for premium wines, particularly ‘age-worthy’ reds. Make your way to Voyager Estate for a hosted tasting of 6 wines and cheese board in the wine room. Taste Voyager Estate’s latest releases and museum vintages of Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon to learn more about Voyager’s winemaking.
Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse tour – the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse and keepers’ cottages reveal the maritime history of the Cape region. Easier than most lighthouses to climb, your tour includes insight into the functions of the working lighthouse, the history of the local area and ghost stories! From the top visitors can see panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, Cape Naturaliste, Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and the beautiful Geographe Bay coastline.
Day 9: Margaret River (Western Australia) – Sydney (New South Wales)
Drive back to Perth Airport to return your rental vehicle and take a flight across the country to Sydney (flight not included). Upon arrival, you will take a shuttle transfer to your central Sydney accommodation where you will stay for 5 nights.
Days 10-13: Sydney
Sydney is filled with iconic Australian experiences; beaches and bushland, sophisticated dining. the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge as well as many interesting inner-city precincts. Excursions to the Hunter Valley wine region or the Blue Mountains National Park are also well worth a day out. You have four days here to explore at your leisure, we have included two experiences in your package to get you started:
The Rocks Aboriginal Walking Tour – Today you will embark on a 90-minute leisurely walkabout with the most ancient human culture on earth accompanied by an Aboriginal guide. Highlights of this tour include a traditional welcoming ceremony and guided walk around key locations.
Sydney Harbour Lunch Cruise – The 2-hour Sydney Harbour lunch cruise including buffet lunch with stunning views of coastline, Sydney Opera House and the famous Harbour Bridge!
Day 14: Depart Sydney, Australia
Your Australia vacation finishes today. Transfer by shuttle to Sydney Airport for your flight home (flight not included).
