Two Islands - Cook Islands Snowbird Long Stay Getaway
33 Day Adventure
Sample itinerary:
Day 1: Canada – Los Angeles
Depart Canada on a Thursday, arriving in Los Angeles where you will stay 2 nights.
Day 3: Los Angeles – Rarotonga, Cook Islands
Depart Los Angeles Saturday, fly via Honolulu and arrive in the Cook Islands late evening.
On arrival you will be met at Rarotonga Airport and transferred to your accommodation. Your villa is located in a lush tropical garden across the road from the beach and the Aroa Marine Reserve on the southwest coast of the island. The breakfast café serves a complimentary tropical breakfast daily and afternoon happy hour (except Sunday).
Days 4-24: Rarotonga
Relax… you’re on island time! Your days are at your leisure to relax, and do as much exploring or as little as you please while in Rarotonga. Enjoy simple pleasures such as walking along beaches, hiking the rugged interior, watching the sun set or visiting the local market on a Saturday. This island is just 32km around and exploring is simple, they have just two buses that travel either clockwise or anti-clockwise!
Lagoon Breeze Villas is located on 4-acres of lush tropical gardens and offers just 24 villas on Rarotonga’s sunset coast across from the Aroa Beach & Marine Reserve. This self-catering property has a pool, communal BBQ and complimentary kayaks. Each villa also includes air conditioning, kitchenette and an outdoor patio. During your stay we have also included the following two excursions in this package for you:
Rarotonga island orientation – a quick introduction to the island of Rarotonga including historical sites and places of interest, tourist services, activities and attractions including an intro to local Cook Islands Black Pearls.
Muri Lagoon Day Cruise Excursion – enjoy a day on the water in a beautiful sheltered lagoon. with clear, shallow water and a glass bottom boat cruise. This natural aquarium has myriads of colourful fish and snorkelling is the ideal way to explore up close. After snorkelling, head to a small island to relax and enjoy a delicious fresh fish island-style BBQ lunch.

Day 25: Rarotonga – Aitutaki
Transfer to Rarotonga Airport for your short flight to Aitutaki. On arrival in Aitutaki you will be transferred to your accommodation where you will stay 7 nights.
Days 26-31: Aitutaki
The last week of your trip is something extra special! Explore one of the worlds most exquisite lagoons. Secluded and peaceful, sprinkled with 15 motus (islets) Aitutaki is home to just 1800 people. The turquoise hues of the crystal clear waters and white sand bars are an incredible backdrop. Your days are free to enjoy this incredible paradise at your own pace – from kayaking, watersports and snorkelling to fine white sandy beaches or visit the world’s smallest post office on One Foot Island to have your passport stamped.
Your boutique accommodation has just 8 villas and is nestled between a tropical garden and white sand beach. This is an incredible relaxed style barefoot beach sanctuary for couples.

Day 32: Cook Islands – Honolulu
It won’t be easy to leave paradise, but today you will depart. Transfer to Aitutaki Airport to start your journey home and take your Sunday night flight from Rarotonga to Honolulu.
Day 33: Honolulu – Canada
Arrive the next morning (Monday) and connect with your next flights via Los Angeles, arriving home later today.
