Sample itinerary:

Day 1: Depart Canada

Depart Canada today.  You will cross the international dateline today and ‘lose’ a day (don’t worry, you will get this back on the way home).

Day 3: Arrive Nadi, Fiji Islands

On arrival in Fiji, you will be met transferred to your Coral Coast beach resort where you will stay for 5 nights.

Days 4-7: Coral Coast

You have 4 days on land to enjoy as you please on Fiji’s beautiful Coral Coast.  This is a beautiful stretch of coast with fringing reefs on Fiji’s main island. Relax poolside or beachside, or if you are looking for adventure there are plenty of excursions available (excursions additional cost) such as ziplining, hiking, exploring caves, river safaris or visiting a spa.

One day during your stay, this package includes a day at Malamala Beach club, located on an island.  This includes transfers to get you there and a FJ$50 food & beverage credit while at the beach club.  Here you can enjoy free use of non-motorised sports equipment. This Beach club must be prebooked at the same time your holiday arrangements are booked and confirmed.

Day 8: Coral Coast to Port Denarau

After breakfast, depart your resort today and transfer to Port Denarau. Check in is between 11:00 to 11:45am, and from here you will be transferred by smaller vessel to join the M.V. Fiji Princess to start your cruise.  Your afternoon can be spent snorkelling, swimming and relaxing on the beach!

Days 9-11: Fiji Islands Cruising

Your cruise itinerary is flexible and subject to change to give the best possible experience. but will include the Mamanuca and Yasawa island groups off the west coast of Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu. A sample cruise itinerary includes:

Yalobi Bay – As you arrive at the Sacred Islands, you may think you are lost in paradise! The backdrop of the neighbouring volcanic formations is breathtaking, Yalobi Bay is the southernmost island in the Yasawa’s and the most mountainous. The mountains here are often topped by clouds, which brings moisture to the area making it far greener than other western Fijian Islands. Tall mountains surround the deep teal blue water in the bay, rising dramatically behind the small palm-covered village onshore. Spend time swimming, snorkelling and relaxing on the beach. Today you can also learn how to make the Roti in Lolo dish.

Blue Lagoon – Head ashore for happy hour and canapés, a special night is ahead with traditional Lovo feast cooked underground and enjoyed on the beach under the palm trees and stars. Tonight you have an evening of Fijian meke, singing and dancing with the local villagers.

Sawa-I-Lau Island – Most of the day is at leisure at Blue Lagoon. You can take a morning guided island walk, visit an island-style cake shop and browse the shell market or take a snorkelling safari. After lunch, cruise north to explore Sawa-I-Lau caves. You will be welcomed by the local village for a guided walk around the village and enjoy a local traditional Fijian feast.

Drawaqa Island – Visit Drawaqa Island which is alongside a marine reserve for spectacular snorkelling. From May to October, you can also experience the manta rays that feed in the channel just off the beach. This area is also one of the main dive spots on your cruise, with amazing coral gardens just off the coastline, it is amongst the finest in Fiji. You can visit a local school and dinner is a BBQ on the deck under the stars.

Meals included: All meals on cruise,  breakfast, lunch and dinner plus morning and afternoon teas and bubbles for breakfast (sparkling wine with breakfast daily).

Day 12: Port Denarau to Nadi, Depart Fiji

Farewell Fiji today. enjoy breakfast onboard as you cruise back to Port Denarau, disembarking after 10:00am.  You have your last day free to spend at Denarau, enjoying shops and cafes or perhaps you may wish to add a hotel day room nearby (day room additional cost). We have included a transfer from Denarau to Nadi Airport for your return flight home this evening.
