21 Day Long Stay Vacation - Limited Time Offer - New Zealand Road Trip Adventure
Great Value Vacation including Beaches, Geothermal Wonders, Classic Small Kiwi Towns, Culture, Wine Country and the Coolest Capital!
Great value road trip adventure through New Zealand that hits a sweet spot for Canadians in a way few destinations do. When Canada slips into its cooler months, New Zealand’s North Island feels like a nice reset—lush landscapes, geothermal wonders, Māori culture and coastlines that look like they were designed for postcards – from the country’s largest city, Auckland, to its creative capital, Wellington. Each season in New Zealand brings its own charm, and with the Southern Hemisphere’s calendar flipped, the country heats up just as Canada cools down—making it the perfect escape when you need it most.
For Canadians escaping fall/winter, New Zealand’s spring/summer feels like a gift from down under. Days are longer, warm and bright. Add to that New Zealand’s reputation as one of the safest countries in the world and you have the perfect backdrop for a relaxed adventure exploring classic Kiwi towns and golden beaches. This sample road trip is just an idea, if you get in touch we can customise a road trip for you.

There is also a marine reserve nearby, making it a popular destination for diving, snorkelling and kayaking. Reefs, caves and arches are ideal for a variety of plants, fish, molluscs and crustaceans. From your base in Hahei you are a short drive away from the start of the track to scenic Cathedral Cove and its limestone arch (you might recognise it from Microsoft screensavers), Hot Water Beach known for its natural springs where you can dig your own spa at low tide and at the southern end of Hahei beach, the Te Pare historic reserve is the site of an ancient Maori pā (fortified village).
Day 8: Coromandel to Rotorua
Travel south today, you may choose to stop for coffee in the quirky small town of Tirau, known for its giant sheep sculptures that make it the unofficial the ‘corrugated iron capital of the world’. The seafront walkway of Marine Parade is perfect to stroll or cycle. This 3km walk runs alongside Napier Beach and is a hot spot for both locals and visitors with scenic views of the Pacific Ocean, Cape Kidnappers, and Mahia Peninsula.
