You can experience a taste of the K-entertainment soul of Seoul by visiting film locations, agency buildings, attending concerts, visiting fan-focused shops or perhaps even record your own music. The Gangnam district is famous as the hub of K-pop, and is the home for many entertainment companies. The city has famous film locations featured by K-dramas but the Korean entertainment industry roots are in Seoul as a whole. This sample vacation package is a fun introduction to the capital city and also to the unique K-culture, the world of Korean entertainment and more.

Seoul Pop Culture Adventure in South Korea
5 Day Adventure
Sample Itinerary (Subject to Change)
Day 1: Arrive Seoul, South Korea
On arrival at Incheon International Airport, transfer by vehicle to your Seoul hotel in the heart of the Hongdae district. This area is known for its artistic ambiance, lively nightlife and innovative fashion scene. It is also centrally-located and close to Hongik University Station, and easy place immerse yourself in surrounding creative energy.
Tonight we have included a night market food tour in the Jongno District. A culinary and cultural evening for a couple of hours is a great way to kick off your Seoul adventure. Meet your guide in Jogno and explore a famous night market, delving into its rich history and lively atmosphere. Enjoy authentic Korean dishes and drinks.
Day 2: Seoul City Sights
Spend today getting acquainted Seoul on a 60-minute pedicab journey. Meet your driver at the designated spot and pedal through vibrant streets, exploring iconic landmarks and local gems. Choose from one of three unique routes, each offering a glimpse into a different area of Seoul’s rich history and culture:
Option 1: Hanok Village Pedicab Ride – Ride through Bukchon Hanok Village, a historic neighborhood known for its traditional Korean houses. Explore key landmarks, learn about the area’s history and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.
Option 2: Changdeokgung Palace Pedicab Ride – Take a pedicab tour of Changdeokgung Palace, a former Royal palace and UNESCO World Heritage site. Admire the historic architecture and scenic views as you ride along the ancient walls. (Note: The Palace is open from 9:00am-6:00pm, with the last admission at 5:00pm and is closed Mondays. Admission fees not included)
Option 3: Historic Seochon Pedicab Ride – Explore Seochon on a pedicab ride through this charming neighborhood. Enjoy views of Inwangsan Mountain, wander through narrow alleys to discover hidden gems.
Day 3: Seoul K-Pop & K-Drama Culture
Today you have a choice of one of the following Seoul adventures to explore the heart of Seoul’s famous entertainment industry.
Option 1: K-Pop Adventure – Start at HiKR Ground, a multimedia exhibition with interactive K-pop experiences, photo zones and digital displays featuring top K-pop stars. Take a short guided walking tour along the picturesque Cheonggyecheon Stream. Dive into the bustling streets of Myeongdong, a bustling hotspot for K-pop merchandise. Visit the Kyobo Book Centre’s Hottracks for the latest K-pop albums and stop at a photo booth to capturing memories in a uniquely Korean style.
Continue to Hongdae, a lively and creative hub in Seoul known for its youthful energy and artistic vibe. Here you will take part in a K-pop dance class to learn the moves to your favourite K-pop songs. Then take photos at the iconic YG building, the home of YG Entertainment, a record label that has worked with many superstars including BLACKPINK, BIGBANG, 2NE1 and Psy. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring Hongdae’s main streets, where buskers perform live music, dance, and other entertainment. You may decide to visit one of the local coffee shops to try a green tea latte, potato hot milk or a local coffee. Spend some time shopping for quirky fashion, accessories and unique souvenirs. This tour is not available on Mondays.
Option 2: K-Pop & K-Drama Adventure – Start the day with a visit to Namsan Tower, one of the most iconic landmarks in Seoul and filming location for many Korean dramas with panoramic views of the city. Head to Myeongdong, a bustling shopping district to explore stores offering K-pop albums, exclusive merchandise and items promoted by K-pop stars and famous Korean actors. Continue with a visit to HiKR Ground, a vibrant and interactive zone for global K-pop and K-drama fans. The exhibits with digital technology are designed to be an immersive experience.
Stroll along Cheonggyecheon Stream, a picturesque urban oasis often featured in K-dramas as a popular dating spot. Next visit the Gangnam area and walk along K-star Road, a high end shopping area filled with cafes and luxury brands. Take a photo with the adorable bear-shaped sculptures along the avenue, each with logos and mascots of popular K-Pop groups.
Make a short stop at Bongeunsa Temple, a peaceful haven amidst the city’s hustle. Marvel at the temple’s tranquil ambiance, historical significance and also featured in the K-drama Faith: The Great Doctor. Stop at Coex Mall to see the Gangnam Style statue, showcasing Psy’s iconic dance pose. Inside the mall lies one of the most captivating libraries in Seoul, Starfield Library, a popular shooting location of many K-dramas. Continue to KTown4U, the ultimate source of K-pop goods. Snag the newest albums and epic merchandise as souvenirs of Seoul’s vibrant K-Culture scene.
Option 3: K-Pop & K-Drama Style – Travel to a hanbok rental shop (traditional Korean clothing) and step into the world of K-Pop Demon Hunters where modern Seoul meets ancient myths. Choose from clothing designs that blend traditional with old-world motifs and modern futuristic style. These designs reflect Korea’s ability to preserve cultural identity and time push creative boundaries. They have captured international attention, inspiring fashion trends and Korean cultural appreciation. Stroll through Bukchon Hanok Village, where centuries-old houses line peaceful alleys to see how Seoul’s cultural heritage continues to inspire modern Korean art, fashion and productions. Enjoy a short photoshoot.
After returning the hanbok, continue to the bustling streets of Myeongdong. Here you can imaging the famous Saja Boys (a fictional K-pop boy group from the 2025 animated film Demon Hunters) captivating everyone’s attention in the middle of the lively crowd here. It is easy to picture the thrilling scene from the movie when you are there immersed in the energy and charm of Seoul. Enjoy lunch at a local Korean restaurant, savouring traditional dishes. Visit HiKR Ground, an interactive complex with photo zones, immersive exhibits and the chance to perform a short K-dance routine on a digital stage. End the day at Naksan Park, where Seoul’s historic fortress and sweeping views make it a favourite backdrop for K-dramas including an emotional reunion scene between Rumi and Jinu in Demon Hunters. This tour is available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Day 4: Seoul – Studio Behind the Scenes
Today is a studio behind the scenes experience. Meet at Hongik Univ. Station and transfer by vehicle to the MBC Dream Center in Goyang and Korea’s largest indoor studio complex that is a centre for K-content production. Take a walking tour through the production areas including the broadcasting set production room, drama production center, script room and sets. Learn about each step of the TV production process and how Korea’s most popular shows are created. Depending on the day you visit, the studio program differs.
Travel to Sangam-dong MBC headquarters and take a break for lunch (own expense) before exploring the complex. Begin at Star Park, a handprint monument featuring famous Korean celebrities. Continue to the Garden Radio Studio, a unique glass-walled space where live radio broadcasts often take place. Then, step inside the grand MBC Hall, a cultural space often used for large events and special productions. There is also a souvenir shop where you may purchase a souvenir piece of Korean broadcasting culture.
Day 5: Depart Seoul, South Korea
Today is at your leisure until it is time for you to depart Seoul. Transfer by car to Incheon International Airport for your onward flight (flight not included).
