Thailand Beaches

Day 1: Bangkok – Phuket

Fly from Bangkok to Phuket.  On arrival in Phuket you will be met and transferred approximately 35 minutes from your resort where you sill stay for 4 nights

Days 2-4: Phuket

You have a few days to enjoy Phuket, you resort in Kamala Beach is ideal for travellers seeking quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the main touristy regions of Phuket, but also is just 15 minutes to popular Patong Beach area.  We have included the following excursion one night while in Phuket:

Phuket Evening Food & Culture Walk – Discover the flavours of Phuket’s culinary culture with a night tour of the Old Town. Your first stop is Sapan Hin, a recreational park is filled with food carts that sell local delicacies. Sample local specialities such as Thai curried fish custard, grilled chicken, mixed spicy salad and for the more adventurous, fried insects! Stop at the Sapan Hin shrine named ‘Giew Tian Geng’, an important Chinese temple before trying Phuket’s famous ancient dish named O-Tao, a fried oyster or seafood dish prepared with eggs, flour, bean sprouts and taro root. Then move on to savour the sweets with Roti pancake and dessert, before letting your food settle with a short sightseeing walk sightseeing pretty Phuket Old Town.

Day 5: Phuket – Krabi

Travel from Phuket to Krabi today, by vehicle and ferry.  Krabi is just 160km east of Phuket, it will take approximately 3 hours. Check into your resort in Ao Nang with breathtaking views of the Andamann Sea and private beach access.

Days 6-7: Krabi

Your resort in Ao Nang sits amongst tropical gardens and coconut palms and has a private beachfront area on one of the most popular beaches in the area. Your time is at leisure to do as you please, relax and enjoy time by the pool or at local beaches. During your stay we have included the following excursion:

Krabi  City  Tour – more than just beautiful beaches and idyllic islands, this tour spends a morning exploring the Krabi province.  This once small fishing town has a dramatic back drop of limestone karsts that draws in visitors. Away from its plethora of beaches, Krabi City is a thriving focal point of the province. Start your tour at a marine animal breeding station that helps safeguard local sea life, then visit the religious shrine of Wat Kaew Goveraram, one of the main centres of worship for the local Buddhist community.  Finish your trip with lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 8: Krabi – Phuket -Koh Samui

Travel from Krabi to Phuket, then fly to the island of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand where you will stay for 3 nights.

Days 9-10: Koh Samui

Koh Samui is one of Thailand’s beautiful tropical islands and your resort is on Bo Phut Beach, surrounded by 7 acres of plantations. Enjoy days at your leisure relaxing poolside or at a beach, or perhaps visit Ang Thong National Marine Park with an archipelago of 80 islands.  We have included the following excursion one day:

Koh Samui Jungle Discovery – Enjoy a full-day of exploration around Koh Samui to ornate temples of Wat Phra Yai, Wat Plai Leam and Guan Yu Koh Samui shrine which is one of the most revered religious sites on the island. Continue to a local rubber plantation to observe tapping methods before taking a short hike to Na Muang Waterfall where you can enjoy a cooling dip in the natural pool. Enjoy a delicious lunch overlooking the ocean and coconut plantation. Proceed to a ‘magic garden’ that contains dramatic architectural inspiration before stopping to admire Koh Samui from a mountain viewpoint. The day finishes at Wat Tee Pangkorn temple that has an imposing giant Golden Buddha statue.

Day 11: Koh Samui – Koh Phangan

Transfer from Koh Samui to Koh Phangnan by vehicle and local ferry. The transfer will take approximately 1 hour to reach the shores of Koh Phangan, a large island off the east coast of the Surat Thai province in the Gulf of Thailand. Check into your resort where you will stay for 3 nights.

Days 12-13: Koh Phangan

Your days here are at your leisure to explore. While Koh Phangnan is often known for its full moon beach parties, it also has a number of quieter beach hideaways. Thailand’s 5th biggest island is mountainous, covered with coconut trees and surrounded by white sand beaches and beautiful waters.  There is an abundance of wildlife, from monkeys to birds of paradise and an amazing underwater world with over 10km of vibrant coral and 20 local dive sites. Your relaxed resort also has sunset views over Koh Maa.

Day 14: Koh Phangan – Koh Samui – Bangkok

Depart your island paradise today be ferry and then transfer to Koh Samui Airport for your flight to Bangkok where your Thailand beach adventure ends.  You may choose to add a few nights in Bangkok if you are  interested in exploring the capital.
