Sample Itinerary (Subject to Change):

Day 1: Depart Canada

Depart Canada today flying Air New Zealand.  You will cross the international dateline, transit through New Zealand and ‘lose’ a day.

Day 2: Arrive Rarotonga, Cook Islands

Kia Orana, welcome to the Cook Islands. On arrival you will be met at Rarotonga airport and transferred to your accommodation.

Lagoon Breeze Villas is located on 4-acres of lush tropical gardens and offers just 24 villas on Rarotonga’s southwest sunset coast across the road from the Aroa Beach & Marine Reserve. This self-catering property has a pool, communal BBQ and complimentary kayaks. Each villa also includes air conditioning, kitchenette and an outdoor patio. The breakfast café serves a complimentary tropical breakfast daily and afternoon happy hour (except Sundays).

Days 3-24: Rarotonga

Settle into the relaxed rhythm of Rarotonga where your three‑week stay unfolds at an easy pace. Spend your days wandering along quiet beaches, exploring the island’s rugged inland trails or watching the sunset melt into the horizon. On Saturdays visit the lively local markets filled with local music, food and handmade crafts. On Sundays you might hear the church choirs singing which is a wonderful glimpse into island life.

With the island just 32 km around, exploring is very simple. Two buses loop the island in clockwise and anticlockwise directions, making it effortless to get anywhere. If you prefer more flexibility, car hire is available at an additional cost and driving is straightforward.

Your time on Rarotonga is entirely your own—whether you choose to explore every hidden cove, immerse yourself in island life or simply unwind beneath the swaying palms. We have included a full‑day lagoon cruise  excursion for a day on the water in one of the islands most beautiful sheltered lagoons: Muri Lagoon Cruise – glide across one of the island’s most beautiful sheltered lagoons aboard a glass‑bottom boat. Beneath you, a natural aquarium teems with colourful fish, and snorkelling offers the perfect way to experience this underwater world up close. After your swim, relax on a small offshore islet and enjoy a delicious island‑style BBQ lunch featuring fresh local fish.

Day 24: Depart Rarotonga (Cook Islands)

Depart your little South Pacific island paradise today, transfer from your hotel to Rarotonga airport for your flight.

Day 24: Auckland – Canada

Arrive home today.

Optional New Zealand Stopover:

Days 24-26: Auckland, New Zealand

If you choose to add a New Zealand stopover, today you arrive in Auckland. On arrival you will be transferred to your central city hotel by private car.

During your stay we have included a half-day excursion to explore the city.  Auckland is set on 53 dormant volcanic cones between two harbors. Explore the history and sights travelling through Auckland’s central business district, past the University and through the inner-city park, known as the Domain. Continue through the popular suburb of Ponsonby before heading over the Harbour Bridge to the North Shore. Stroll along a beach where there is time for a coffee before continuing up to the summit of Mt Victoria for panoramic views of Auckland City and historic Devonport before travelling back to the city.

Day 27: Auckland – Canada

Your trip comes to an end today.  You will be transferred by private car to Auckland airport for your flight home.
