Cook Islands Beach Getaway in Rarotonga
11 Day Adventure
Day 1: Canada to Honolulu
Travel from Cananda to Hawaii today, on arrival you will stay 1 night in Honolulu.
Day 2: Honolulu to Rarotonga, Cook Islands
Fly from Honolulu to Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. On arrival, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your island accommodation.
Your accommodation is located on the southwest coast of the island of Rarotonga. Rooms situated in a lush garden across the road from a white sand beach and the Aroa Marine Reserve. This is a relaxed, self-catering property with just 25 villas that each have a mini kitchen, air conditioning and verandahs. There is also a freshwater swimming pool with a smaller paddling pool for kids, complimentary use of kayaks, sun loungers and resort BBQ’s .
Days 3-10: Rarotonga
Relax… you’re on Island Time! Your days are at your leisure to explore and relax, and simply do as much or as little as you like while in Rarotonga. Enjoy simple pleasures walking along beaches, watching the sun set or visiting the local market on a Saturday. Rarotonga is just 32km around, so is easy to explore. Getting around is simple, they have just two buses that travel either clockwise or anti-clockwise!
One day we have included an excursion for you to take a glass bottom boat cruise on Muri Lagoon. You will be collected from your hotel and enjoy the beautiful clear, shallow water that is snorkelling fun for everyone from beginners to advanced. This is a natural aquarium with myriads of colourful fish and marine life including a moray eel, giant clams, giant trevellay, angel fish, butterfly fish, convict surgeon fish, trigger fish and occasionally turtles. Snorkelling is the ideal way to explore up close, but if you prefer you can simply relax and float on the water. All equipment is included and after snorkelling you will head to a small island to relax and enjoy a delicious fresh fish island-style BBQ lunch.
Day 10: Depart Rarotonga, Cook Islands
Depart your Pacific Island paradise today, you will be transferred from your hotel to Rarotonga Airport for your return flights to Canada.
Day 11: Arrive Canada
Arrive home today.
