Sample Itinerary (Subject to Change):

Day 1: Depart Canada

Depart Canada today flying Air New Zealand via New Zealand.  You will cross the international dateline and ‘lose’ a day.

Day 2: Arrive Rarotonga, Cook Islands

Kia Orana, welcome to the Cook Islands. On arrival you will be met at Rarotonga airport and transferred to your accommodation.

Your trip begins at the award‑winning Little Polynesian Resort, an intimate adults‑only boutique retreat where beachfront serenity, warm Polynesian hospitality, and elegant design set the tone for pure relaxation.

Days 3-8: Rarotonga

Relax… you’re on island time! Your week in Rarotonga is completely at your leisure to relax and do as much or as little as you please. Enjoy simple pleasures and quality time swimming, walking along beaches, hiking the rugged interior, watching the sunset or visiting the bustling local markets on Saturdays. The island is just 32km around and exploring is simple, they have just two buses that travel either clockwise or anti-clockwise or if you choose to add car hire (additional cost), it is easy to drive.

We have included a special dinner experience one night, you can choose from one of the following: A spectacular overwater Cultural Night Show and Dinner at Te Vara Nui – Enjoy a delicious island / western fusion buffet dinner before watching Rarotonga’s finest dancers perform by flaming torchlight showcasing the Legend of Tongaiti. Your second choice is a 3-course  Progressive  Island Dinner – to explore Cook islands cuisine and meet locals in their homes.

If you are celebrating and anniversary, special birthday, honeymoon or something else, there are many great ways to spend days in Rarotonga: Visit Muri Beach to swim the lagoon or stroll at Sunset, spend a day snorkelling on the lagoon and having and island BBQ (additional cost) or maybe a massage.

Day 9: Rarotonga – Aitutaki

Take a short flight to the stunning atoll of Aitutaki today (approximately 50-mins). Your next resort, Pacific Resort Aitutaki is a luxurious haven perched above one of the most breathtaking lagoons on earth! Here, powder‑soft sands, turquoise waters, and impeccable service create an atmosphere of effortless romance and calm.

Days 10-12: Aitutaki

Your days here are at your leisure to spend as you choose. Great ways to celebrate in Aitutaki include: Lagoon cruising, couples massage in a beachfront spa, romantic beachside sunset dining, explore secret gardens and quiet beaches, snorkelling and paddleboarding together in calm lagoons, go to an island night & fire dance show, visit One Foot Island or Ootu Beach.

Day 13: Aitutaki – Rarotonga – Auckland

Depart your South Pacific island paradise today, transfer from your hotel to Aitutaki airport for your short flight to Rarotonga and then connect to depart Rarotonga.

Day 14: Auckland – Canada

Arrive home today.

Optional New Zealand Stopover:

Days 14-16: Auckland, New Zealand

If you choose to extend your trip to add a New Zealand stopover, today you will arrive in Auckland and be transferred from the airport to your central city hotel by private car.

During your stay we have included a half-day excursion to explore the city.  Auckland is set on 53 dormant volcanic cones between two harbors. Explore the history and sights travelling through Auckland’s central business district, past the University and through the inner-city park, known as the Domain. Continue through the popular suburb of Ponsonby before heading over the Harbour Bridge to the North Shore. Stroll along a beach where there is time for a coffee before continuing up to the summit of Mt Victoria for panoramic views of Auckland City and historic Devonport before travelling back to the city.

Day 17: Auckland – Canada

Your trip comes to an end today.  You will be transferred by private car to Auckland airport for your flight home.
