Sample Australia Itinerary (Subject to change)

Day 1: Depart Canada

Depart today, you will cross the international date line and ‘lose’ a day (you gain this back on your return).

Day 3: Arrive Sydney, Australia

G’day and welcome to Sydney!  On arrival, make your own way to your central city hotel and the rest of your day is spent at your leisure. Start your extended Australia adventure with a short stay to explore the stunning harbour city of Sydney.

Day 4: Sydney

Start your day with a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House.  Discover insider secrets and stories of the Opera House artists and performances. Step inside the iconic theatres and foyers that bring to life over 1,800 performances a year and learn about how the architects vision came into existence against impossible odds.

This afternoon, join a guided walking tour of the Historic Rocks precinct. This area holds a unique place in Sydney’s colonial history as the birthplace of European Australia. Hear the legends and history of the city, strolling the shoreline of the sparkling Sydney Harbour and wander down hidden alleyways, shady courtyards and cobbled lanes.

Day 5: Sydney

Today is mostly free to explore and we have included a Sydney Harbour  Cruise.  Relax and enjoy the sights of the city from the water with a 2 hour afternoon including lunch onboard. As you cruise around you can see secluded beaches, spectacular sandstone cliffs and listen to commentary on the history of Sydney Harbour as well as the marine life that inhabits its sandy beaches, grassy sea beds and rocky shores.

Day 6: Sydney – Sunshine Coast

Make your own way to Sydney Domestic Airport where you will take a flight to Brisbane, and then shuttle transfer to the Sunshine Coast.  The rest of your day is at your leisure.

Days 7-26: Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast

Mooloolaba is a picturesque beachside town with a number of beaches including main beach that is good for families and also Alexandra Headland that surfers enjoy the waves. The Wharf precinct has a selection of eateries to choose from, there are also nearby seafood markets and the Fish & Chippery where you can purchase fish straight from the trawler. On Sunday mornings, a local market features local artisans and designers at Cotton Tree Market.

Your apartment is in an idyllic central location in the heart of Mooloolaba, within short walking distance to cafes, restaurants and the beautiful beach. This property features an outdoor pool, balconies in each apartment and an outdoor barbecue area. it is great for couples or small families and an ideal base for exploring Australia’s Sunshine Coast. Your Mooloolaba apartment is modern with a balcony, fully equipped kitchen and laundry as well as access to beach cabanas, chairs and carts, Jacuzzi and pool plus a BBQ area.

Day 27: Depart Sunshine Coast, Australia

Today your trip to Australia comes to an end.  We have included a shuttle transfer from Mooloolaba to Sunshine Coast Airport where your trip home commences.

Day 27: Sunshine Coast (Australia) – Nadi (Fiji)

Bula! Welcome to Fiji.  On arrival, you will be transferred by shuttle from Nadi International Airport to your beach resort on the west coast of Viti Levu. The rest of your day is at your leisure.

Days 28-29: Fiji

Your beachfront resort is great for swimming, snorkelling and reef walks at low tide. This simple relaxed Fijian-style resort includes a warm welcome and views of the Mamanuca Islands surrounded by lush tropical gardens a short walk to Vuda Marina or a 15 min drive to Lautoka town. During your stay we have included an island day: in this package:  Malamala Island and Beach Club  – make your own way to Denarau Marina and take a short 30min boat ride to a small private island Malamala Island in the Mamanucas to enjoy time relaxing surrounded by crystal clear waters, white sand beaches and a resort style pool.

Day 30: Depart Nadi, Fiji

Depart Fiji today. You will be transferred by shuttle to Nadi Airport for your onward flight.
