Sydney, Adelaide and Outback
10 Day Adventure
Day 1 – Sydney
Welcome to Sydney! Upon arrival you will be transferred to your accommodation where you will check in for 4 nights. The balance of your day is at leisure.
Day 2: The Rocks Walking Tour
The Rocks holds a unique place in Sydney’s colonial history as the birthplace of European Australia. An essential visitor destination, The Rocks promises to be a memorable Sydney experience. Hear the legends and history of Sydney as you stroll the shoreline of the sparkling Sydney Harbour and wander down hidden alleyways, shady courtyards, and cobbled lanes. Discover what makes The Rocks tick on a Sydney heritage walk.
Day 3: Blue Mountains Wildlife Day Tour
Today you will be collected by a tour guide from your hotel and head to 1.5hr west to Blue Mountains to explore the stunning lookouts, valleys, rainforest areas, and bush walks. You’ll wander through a mountain village for lunch, and get up close to iconic Australian animals at Featherdale Wildlife Park!
Day 4: Day at Leisure

Day 5: Cairns
You will be picked up at your Sydney hotel and taken to the airport where you will take a flight to Cairns. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel where you will check in for 4 nights. The balance of your day is at leisure.
Day 6: The Great Barrier Reef Cruise
Explore the wondrous spectacle that is the Great Barrier Reef. A diverse array of marine life and corals inhabit the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef and can be viewed from the surface or by plunging below. Snorkelling and diving the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park is an adventure. Exploring the coral gardens in search for weird and wonderful marine creatures at Opal Reef and Agincourt Reef will keep you busy for hours. Three sites are visited in one day, providing an insight into this large, unique and extraordinary living organism that is the Great Barrier Reef.
Day 7: Daintree Aboriginal Tour
Immerse yourself in the ancient Aboriginal culture of the Kuku Yalanji people on this exclusive tour. Join an art class at Janbal Gallery with Aboriginal artist Brian ‘Binna’ Swindley where you will learn how their stories are shared through art, as well as paint your own canvas to take home. Learn about the ancient Aboriginal ‘highways’ that run through the region on the way to Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre; the gateway into the ancient Daintree rainforest of Mossman Gorge. Experience a traditional welcome to country smoking ceremony as you arrive before a delicious lunch.
Day 8: Day at Leisure

Day 9: Uluru
You will be picked up at your Cairns hotel and taken to the airport where you will take a flight to Uluru. Upon arrival at Ayers Rock Airport, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel where you will check in for 2 nights and join a group tour for 3 days. This afternoon, visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Later, travel around the base of Uluru in comfort as your Driver Guide provides commentary about the numerous sacred sites and features to be found at Uluru. Learn about the native flora, fauna and intriguing culture of the traditional owners, the Anangu, and discover an array of fascinating sites. Continue by coach to the Kuniya Walk where your Driver Guide will escort you to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole. In the late afternoon witness the striking colour changes of Uluru at sunset while enjoying sparkling wine.
Day 10: Kings Canyon
Travel from Ayers Rock Resort to Kings Canyon, stopping for breakfast at Kings Creek Station along the way. Originally vacant crown land, the station now runs cattle and is the largest exporter of wild camels in Australia. Learn the intriguing story of owners, Ian and Lynn Conway and their dedication to Aboriginal children in the region’s remote communities. Make the steep rocky climb to the rim of the Kings Canyon for spectacular views of Watarrka National Park. Follow the rim of the canyon stopping to look down into the canyon gorge from a series of look-out points along the way. Time permitting, your Guide may take you to the green oasis of the ‘Garden of Eden’ waterhole.
Day 11: Kata Tjuta, then Departure
Rise early to watch the first rays of the sun set Uluru and the Red Centre alight. Make your way to the viewing platform to see many kilometres into the distance, providing an ideal photo opportunity. Later, travel to the mystical domes of Kata Tjuta and continue to the base of Walpa Gorge. Spend time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations. The walking trail through it follows the natural creek bed between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta. In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred to Ayers Rock Airport.
