12 Day Adventure

Day 1: G’day and welcome!

G’Day and welcome to Sydney! Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. The balance of your day is at leisure.

Day 2: – Hunter Valley Wine Region

Experience Australia’s oldest wine producing region, the picturesque Hunter Valley. Travel over the Sydney Harbour Bridge before being treated to magnificent views of the Hawkesbay River and Australian countryside. Visit the opulent surrounds of Leogate Estate as you taste their award-winning varietals and take in the views of the Brokenback Ranges.
Next you will visit Hunter Valley Resort where you can walk amongst the vineyards and learn about the wine making process and the important role the Resort holds for this region. Enjoy a delicious lunch made with local produce while you sample some of the area’s best wines and after lunch have the chance to purchase (own expense) a beer tasting paddle from the onsite Brewery.
Spend the afternoon at the award-winning McGuigans Winery where you will take part in a private group tasting and visit the cellar door where you can purchase a bottle or two to take home. Finish the day at the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company and sample their locally chocolates and fudge and see the onsite production room.

Day 3: At leisure in Sydney

Enjoy your day at leisure in Sydney.

Day 4: Sydney to Adelaide

Join your transfer to the airport for your flight to Adelaide. Upon arrival in Adelaide, join your transfer to your hotel. The balance of your day is at leisure.

Day 5: Barossa Valley

Travel through the city of Adelaide northwards to the world renowned Barossa wine region. Enjoy the change of scenery as you make your way into the vineyards of South Australia’s premium wine region. Your first stop is TeAro Estate, located in the main street of Williamstown in a heritage listed 1850’s barn. In the intimate Tasting Room, you will be treated to morning tea sourced from the local bakery and wine tastings while hearing stories from 4 generations of family vignerons.
The next stop is a visit to Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop, an absolute must whilst visiting the Barossa. Maggie Beer – cook, writer and founder of ‘Maggie Beer Products’, offers tastings and sales of her full product range including limited edition seasonal produce.
On arrival at Lambert Estate at Angaston, you will enjoy a structured wine tasting whilst sampling local seasonal produce from gourmet platters. Main course follows, and is a feast for the senses, with two signature dishes, salad and vegetables. You may wish to purchase a glass of wine from the impressive wine selection, or enjoy a coffee accompanied with their popular Chocolatier (Chocolate Port).
Leaving Lambert Estate, travel to Mengler Hill Lookout for sweeping views over the valley and then onto your final stop for the day will be Pindarie, a multi-tourism award winning cellar door, which feels more like an Australian Homestead than a cellar door. The friendly staff don’t just pour the wine; they share the stories behind the wines and Pindarie, a great way to finish off your Barossa Food & Wine Experience.

Day 6: At leisure in Adelaide

Enjoy your day at leisure in Adelaide.

Day 7: Adelaide to Melbourne

Join your transfer to the airport for your flight to Melbourne. Upon arrival in Melbourne, join your transfer to your hotel. The balance of your day is at leisure.

Day 8: Yarra Valley

Join us in exploring Australias premier cool climate wine producing region and be enchanted by this mystical valley complete with gourmet delights on our Yarra Valley wine tour. This trip is guaranteed to be a fun and exciting day out to our favourite boutique wineries, each selected for excellence in customer experience and quality wine tastings. Prepare yourself for indulging in sweet relishes, refreshing ciders and magical wines from this region. Join us in the unrivalled Yarra Valley region for a special and unique touring experience.
Tantalise your taste buds as we sample the delicious local produce at renowned Yarra Valley institutions, such as Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice-Creamery, Gateway Estate, Hanrahan Winery or Punt Road Wines, Napoleone Brewery & Cider House and Killara Estate to name a few. Enjoy the afternoon with an Italian inspired lunch overlooking spectacular views of the Yarra Valley vineyards.
